Nov 18, · In the basic tab there is a heading "Floor", click in the heading box and you will see a grey arrow marker appear in the model with one arrow pointing up and two arrows pointing down. If these options for "Floor shadows" and "Floor Reflections" are grayed out a work around could be to offset the floor out of the render screen. Normally when rendering we enable the floor shadows in SolidWorks using edit options in render tab. But in case you want to change the more settings then use edit scene & change the light settings. Also the material settings can be changed for better reflections. Normally we need reflective surface & . Even with floor shadows turned off Solidworks renders the part with small shadows around it (though I think once the option to disable floor shadows was greyed out But in my case, the shadows and reflections are very bad quality.
